Amanda and Garrett had their first date at Mariachi Loco in River Falls, WI after chatting on Facebook Dating for a few weeks.

They went on several dates over the next few weeks, ranging from long walks around the parks in the area, movies, dinner, and just relaxing at home.

They soon became inseparable, and it wasn’t long until Amanda was living with Garrett (exact date unknown, it was kind of a gradual progression…).

Over the next few years, they built the foundation of their relationship on trust, friendship, and communication. They went on trips together, several more dates, and spent lots of time at home enjoying each other’s company.

On January 24, 2026, Garrett surprised Amanda with a proposal. They were in their pajamas, at home, and of course she said YES!

They look forward to a wedding sometime in the fall of 2027 and are currently enjoying being newly engaged.
